#OOTW: Athleisure Comfort

I’m a huge fan of athleisure. Being able to throw on tights, a tank top, a jean jacket and sneakers to meet up with a friend to grab coffee or go shoot hoops is effortless, stylish and most importantly comfortable. This is an essential outfit I wear at least once a week and this past week was no exception.

I do have to address the elephant in the room. I’m mixing brands (adidas & Nike) which is sacrilege to some. Most people wouldn’t notice nor care,  but sneakerheads are a different story. I honestly don’t think it’s a fashion faux pas to mix and match. If the outfit looks good and you feel good wearing it, why not? Shout out to Russell Westbrook.

Athleisure isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and with it being more orthodox in the workplace, I’m excited and curious to see the ingenuity of brands across the board.

adidas Supernova Long Tights – Buy here
Comfy and extremely breathable. Love the ventilation behind the knees.

adidas Iridescent Tank Top – Buy here
This is more of a sleeveless t-shirt which is especially great for work outs when you want breathability and full range of motion.

Nike Classic Swoosh Futura Sports Bra – Buy here
The soft elastic chest band is key when it comes to comfort and prevents chafing. Still a struggle to put on and take off.

Nike Air More Uptempo – Buy here
A classic sneaker that triggers nostalgia for me making it a must-have. They’re also pretty comfortable on outdoor basketball courts, even with outdated tech.

Calvin Klein Denim Trucker Jacket – Buy here
Please go buy yourself a denim jacket if you don’t already have one.
