I know a bomb cyclone hit the East Coast last week, but it’s been chilly here in Los Angeles. High 50s and rain earlier this week which is considered cold by locals including me. We’re spoiled and we know it. But one of the great attributes about cooler conditions is being able to layer, especially when it’s typically warm out year-round.
On those rare occasions when the temperatures do drop, the first thing I think of is my hoodie collection. Which one haven’t I worn in a while? Will they match my kicks? It was raining this week so I immediately thought of my Jordan 1s. They’re perfect for adverse weather. So, here’s what I put together:
I.AM.GIA Pixie Coat – Buy here
The comfiest and most oversized coat I’ve ever bought. If you’re on the fence, I suggest going for it.
I Feel Like Pablo Hoodie
A Gildan hoodie that I pre-ordered prior to the Yeezy Season 3 launch. Yes, it’s Gildan, but the material is soft to the touch and keeps you warm.
GAP 1969 Destructed Jeans – Buy here
GAP jeans are affordable, made of good quality and can usually be purchased on sale. A great go-to brand if you don’t feel like shelling out $100+.
Air Jordan 1 “Shadow Grey” – Buy here
A classic style that literally goes with everything. They’re rumored to retro later this year with better quality leather so I’d hold off on paying resale.
Stay warm, East Coast. I know I’ll be.
